After three years, it finally happened.
I finally got my short story, “Bespoke,” on one of my absolutely very favorite podcasts, Tales to Terrify.
It had been so long since I looked at the piece that it felt like listening to someone else’s work, which is always tons of fun for a writer. Of course I heard a few things that I wish I could go back and fix, but overall, I’m really happy with the story and with the fabulous team at Tales to Terrify.
Let me explain: this podcast is part of the family of podcasts that makes up The District of Wonders, captained by the fabulous Tony C. Smith, who started with one of my favorite podcasts, Starship Sofa. I love both science fiction and horror, so I was thrilled to hear that they were expanding and adding a horror podcast. It’s one of my favorites, and one I listen to each and every week. I’m so happy to be a part of this podcast and that this story finally found a home.
Big thanks to the wonderful host, assistant editor, and writer, Lawrence Santoro; assistant editor Cher Eaves; and the wonderful Antoinette Bergin who gave voice to my story. Thank you all so, so much.
So give a listen, and give a donation to Tales to Terrify – they provide awesome free content because of people like you who listen and generously donate to keep the pod running.
